Efe Yazgan

This is my personal webpage. I am a high energy physicist working as a Research Faculty Member of National Taiwan University based at CERN, Geneva. I mainly work on the CMS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) on top quark and Higgs boson physics, Standard Model measurements, physics generators and event modelling, and calorimetry; I also contribute to high energy astrophysics. In 2005, I joined the CMS experiment at the LHC, CERN, and completed my PhD at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab, USA) in 2007. I moved to the Geneva area in 2007, and since then I am based at CERN. I worked for Texas Tech (USA), and Ghent (Belgium) University, Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP, China), and now I am working for National Taiwan University since 2020.
